Being a specialist for cold headed wire, we do have high demands on the quality of our products. These demands require a continuous development and expansion of production through innovative technologies.
In connection with comprehensive quality control, we are sure that we can continuously provide you with optimally prepared materials for further processing into screws, nuts and cold extruded parts, e.g. for the automotive industry, as well as steel for springs, roller bearing and tool steel.
DRAWING
PROCESSES
With our production lines we can draw wires from 3.00 mm up to 48.00 mm. Furthermore, our maximum ring weight is up to 3 tons, depending on the wire dimensions. With our single and multiple drawing machines we draw to the recommended diameters according to customers request, while checking continuously the adherence of the tolerances.
The consistency with which we consider the individual requirements of our customers and implement them in our production guarantees quality and innovation at the same time.
HEAT
TREATMENT
Due to the EDP-assisted and individually adjusted controlling and operating data acquisition software, our roller hearth furnaces and annealing plants are able to meet the special requirements of the wires for homogeneous and consistently reproducible structures, such as globular cementite, for optimal transformation with the lowest possible tool wear.
The ultra-modern annealing plants have optimum process reliability and maximum efficiency. Through an extremely pure annealing atmosphere, we achieve the finest surface structures for further processing.
The highly modern annealing surfaces assure us maximum process security as well as a maximum degree of effectiveness. An extremely clean annealing atmosphere guarantees an optimal surface of the annealed wire, which, in return, is very suitable for processing. In addition, the two roller hearth furnaces in Wetter-Wengern offer the highest quality standard for wire rod. Here we have the possibility to offer a special solution for all materials (e.g. structural, chromium, rolling bearing steels) by controlling the heating, holding, and cooling time to achieve an optimum microstructure.

SURFACE
TREATMENT
Our two plants enable us to keep direct contact with our customers and offer us extreme flexibility. In our modern surface treatment plant in Arnsberg and in our fully automatic and computer-operated revamping pickling plant in Wetter-Wengern we are able to produce all necessary wire surfaces according to our customers’ requests and purposes.
Our production planning programme (PPS) enables us to ensure that production and deliveries are always on schedule.
